The Israeli are building 350 apartments near the future Šmidhen aquapark.

The Israeli company, called Sitnice after a part of the arable land in Samobor, is planning to build series of one-storey family houses. The second part is two-storied houses with an attic. The future family settlement will outspread through 55 thousand square meters of today's arable through the Street of the city Wirges just close to the future aquapark in the Šmidhen complex.

Opposite of that Čačić apartments are already being built, along with some business buildings. Besides Sitnice GUP specifies 116 thousand square meters more only for housing.
- In Sitnice there will be 350 apartments for 1000 new habitants, a central park, a square and a boulevard. There would still be place for another 2000 habitants. The semi-detached houses will have their own gardens, but also joined yards, parking spaces, a playground or a pool and entrances – said the author of the plan, the architect Zoran Hebar from the Zagreb Urbanistic Department.
In the settlement there will still be a kindergarten for 250 children and a business building. The streets will have alleys and biking tracks.

The plan for that settlement was yesterday finished on the meeting of the City Headquarters, and it will be displayed in the City Hall from the 30. of June till the 30. of July from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. so the citizens could have a possibility to give remarks. The public presentation of the UPU will be on 7. of the July at 5 p.m. in the City Hall. The location permit is expected in the fall, and the starting of the construction in the beginning of the next year.
